"As a Guardian, I commissioned Serenity Occupational Therapy to carry out a functional assessment of a family member with learning disabilities and behavioural issues in relation to their skill set and their abilities in everyday living and to produce a Report of findings together with recommendations which would be used to inform a Written Care Strategy.  Ms Grigor visited over a period of a few weeks in the home and in therapeutic settings and was able to observe and communicate with my relative in a sensitive and non-obtrusive manner, whilst eliciting and gathering the information needed.  The contents of the Report were insightful and the recommendations made have given me as a Guardian confidence in seeking the implementation of appropriate support services for my relative.  Ms Grigor took time to communicate with me from the outset and throughout the assessment phase, and kept me updated as to how each visit had gone.
